Always have some un-needed parts left over
Yep, you know me very well, I always have extra parts when I get done with a project. I have an associates degree in engineering, so I know way better than those idiots that design this stuff. Half those parts are completely unnecessary. I know this for fact, cause some of the stuff I fix, actually still works (for the most part)!

FAIL!
I got the circlips, and proceeded to wind the drum. But it seems the cable slipped one of the many pullies. I can't retract the dern thing by hand. Cable is all loose except in the middle section. I had the cable slip a pully earlier, but that was one of the visible pullies. When it comes off the pully it jams into the side of it. Terrible design. Needs less parts! There are three interior pullies, which means I gotta take the dern thing all apart again. Which also means, I'm done for the day. Bankers hours you know.

Sometimes the best thing you can do is sit down and sip a cold beverage of your choice….just sayin’.

I almost bought a boat with a pair of those on it. Glad it didn’t happen.
That looks more complicated than I imagined but designers say it looks good on paper.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

So the talons were deployed while it was on a boat lift and "someone " lowered it onto the talons ?
