Lessons for free ....

Some younger fellas in the the maybe late teens range showed up at the dock about lunch time .
Carrying about 8 or more rods and 3 tackle boxes too !

Told me they were there to ketch some fish and proceeded to pitch crankbaits for bass ...
told the one to go to the last slip and pitch it out to open water and drag it by the condo in the middle of the slip ..... KABOOM ! nice 2.5 lb. bass first cast .....

next they said they wanted to try catfish , told them to go up to the building and grab some dog food and throw it to the ducks , then put a bait under the ducks ....KABOOM ! nice catfish about 2 lbs ....

All the while the one fella is watching me rip the crappie up and down the walkway and he starts dropping a big twisty tail bass bait right in the spot I told to drop it because of the condo in that slip ! ....KABOOM ! the crappie was small ,but he still smiled .....

So I gave him a bait since he said he didnt have his crappie tackle with him, said he had crappie nibbles and I said let me tie you on a jig and put a nibble on there and drop it again ,,,,,they will be faster on a smaller jig ....
to be sure he got bit right off , the one problem was his crappie was about the size of the JIG !

assured him that the bait would ketch big crappie as well and left em to it ....
good times and for sure laughs with a KABOOM or 2 as well .....
