KaBoom for sure! Awesome catch and story. Congrats.
Was what I heard when this bass ate my bluegill that I had just hooked using one of my 1/48 chubs with a #12 hook, 2# Maxima line. Gave her some time to swallow her meal before setting the hook and it was on. Never jumped but made several long runs before I got my hands on her. Battle probably lasted five minutes. That's when I started shaking. Grabbed the scale and tape. She weighed 10.23 lbs, 24.5" long with an incredible girth of 21". NO wonder she didn't jump. I've had bass grab bluegill many times over the years but this was the first time I actually caught it.

I forgot to mention I released her right after the photo shoot. Probably had her out of the water two minutes before I put her back in the water, sat there for a few seconds before she splashed me and bolted away. Bluegill she ate was probably 1/2 lb and pushed it over 10, I thank that gill for it's sacrifice.
NICE!!!!
