    Default Stand up rod holder

What are you fellows using for a stand up rod holder for livescoping, I would like to have one for taking off fish, changing baits, switching rods and maybe just moving from one place to another. Any suggestion appreciated.

Pappy suggested a project using PVC. If you’re using Millenniums they have this add on. Pricey though…

On my rod holder T-bars I attached some 3/4" PVC 4-ways between the rod holders using hose clamps. I bored the vertical holes out with a 1" bit and spray painted everything black to match the rod holders. Here's the fitting I used...

I do have the millennium rod holders, so it may work, but the holders are in the way livescoping. I will look at it thanks.

Made ma one today, I have the versatrack on my boat so I went to Lowe’s and bought a piece of 1 1/2 inch pvc and cut it about 6 inches and drilled a hole for it to fit the versatrack and put a 1/4 inch screw in and tighten it up, works like a charm. Thanks buckeye for giving me the idea under site maintenance.

I ordered the millennium holders as I have their rod holders. When spider rigging, you need some where to put a rod while rebaiting or taking a fish off. I always found I would lay the rod down on top of one of the other rods, and no doubt would get a fish on one of the rods I was crossing over. Yes they are pricey. But I find everything to do with fishing is pricey. Everything is pricey this day and time. I do not intend to transport the rods in a standing position although I have seen people that do. I use the drift master rod holders for transporting.
