Bass & Crappie don't "school" together, but they are likely to "be together" on a piece of cover, at times.
Crappie "usually" school by year class (size), but there are times when larger fish are present among the smaller ones.
Do crappie and bass swim together? So if I catch a bass should I stay or immediately leave because crappie will not be close by since there's bass. Do all crappie swim together regardless of size. Exp - let's I'm catching a bunch of 8in crappie, will there be 12in + size crappie swimming with 8in crappie or smaller. Basically to sum it up, should I move if I catch a bass and should I move if I'm catching smaller crappie than I want. I should say I'm fishing from the bank as well. Thanks in advance!
I regularly catch 8in fish with 12in fish not so much a bunch of shorts then you land a 12in+ fish. Also I catch bass regularly when catching crappie off a submerged tree. No reason to stay or go unless you're not catching your targeted fish. I keep the small bass too. There is a over population condition of bass where I fish a lot so bass go in the box 1lb size. So food for thought, a 12in+ Crappie is less threatened by becoming dinner than shorter fish and will be out in the open more as a predator than prey. Shorts are in the cover because they are prey to a lot of other fish.
If I die from a Deadly Sin it will be Gluttony!

Bass don’t worry most of the time, big and small they are highly to be near large bait shoals ALONG with other predators...like crappie...and etc. too ....
I found crappie under gar before, I found crappie under stripers ( one of fishing Kens first ever videos on his utube channel )
I have found em with drum as well and even catfish and carp ....
Sometimes big fish scare them, sometimes not so much
