Good luck Eric. Had mine replaced outside the VA on our own dime and it’s been an excellent investment. Hopefully you get a resolution sooner than later
Very early trip in the morning. Last Trip of a long 2 yr study on my knee. Hopefully they recommend a knee replacement. 0My part is simple, Make a 3-1/2 hour drive to Dr's office. take 10 min.s to fill out the same paperwork, again.
Get xray taken. Listen to Dr tell me it's not cancer, The calcified tumer is not growing nor moving. Ask me what the VA's gonna do. All that takes 45 minutes. Drive home in 3-1/2 hours.
When I seen my primary care physician, she said, "I thought you were getting a new knee"...Well gee Doc. 1 more visit with the specialist, and you all get to review this mess and tell me...DUH!!! I just love this new quack they replaced a very good Dr. with...
Will update tomorrow when I get back home...

It’s a bear having to deal with the VA.if not, it would be long done by now. Hang in there, Eric.

They only make money getting patients to come back!
Medical field is a joke! Might be worse than a MO vehicle inspection
It’s the reason my primary doctor of 30+ years just retired.
He started a membership doctor business just because of that.
Good luck!

Well, I made the round trip and was home by 1PM. Had lunch and a nap. I used to drive trucks for a living, though I been out of it for some 12yrs. now. This trip wore me out. Good news is, the enchondroma, crystalized growth in the bone, is and has always been non-cancerous, and it's now upto the VA to decide to go ahead with the surgery, or not??? OH Boy...
