    Vicki had a restless night thanks to constant hospital care. She called me at 4am and I was already awake.

    They have had her up and down a flight of stairs and around the halls. All signs point to her going home later today.

    Now, if I can keep our BoykinSpaniel away from her for a few weeks.

    Vicki is doing well. She hates the necessary neck brace but we knew she would. My cooking suits her and has for years. The surprising thing is she refuses to take the prescribed pain meds so a couple of Aleve a couple times a day are keeping her comfortable. She isn’t sleeping more than a few hours at a time so I’ve convinced her to nap any chance she gets. All in all, things are going fine.
