Didn't weigh it. But that 10 ft BnM bent way way back when it it. By my estimates it weighed a thousand pounds. But I'm no expert guesser.

That is close enough for government work. Nice that the both of you had success but most of all fun sharing the time on the water.

Decoder-ring would have easily yielded the answer to that! IMHO- After further eval, anglers that are blessed with longer arms, have a tendency to underestimate the true weight. Could easily be in the 1150 lbs. range with a proper, calibrated scale!
