    Question Lifepo4 Battery ....

Purchased an ECO-Worthy 50ah Lithium Iron Phosphate battery & charger. Primary use of battery will be to run my Garmin 93sv/Livescope setup.

I have already received the charger, and the battery should be here in a day or two. Both will likely see use by next week sometime.

Anyone else ever use this brand of battery, and if so .... what was your experience with it ??

The only "con" I can see with the charger is that it's not made for outdoor use ... but, since the battery only weighs ~11lbs it's not going to be all that much of a problem charging it at home or when lodging away from home.

I will follow up with more reports after I've had a chance to use it and gauge its performance.

Looks like a good price & warranty compared to some others.

Les, is it the same brand, or just a Lithium Iron Phos. battery ??

It's the eco worthy 100 amp he said. He was having trouble with a helix 9, 360 & mega live getting the low voltage message on his starting battery so he bought it awhile back to use strictly for his electronics & he says it cured all of his problems. He said he hasn't had a single problem with his megalive since he got it installed either. I know he's checked it after a days fishing & said it's not nearly run down. No doubt the 50 amp will be great just for the 93 sv & livescope system. I run a 16 volt 18 amp hour from amped outdoors & don't have a problem fishing 10 hours at all on it.

I put an Ionic 100ah battery in and found that my onboard charger would work for it as well as my lead acid batteries. I have the Minn Kota Precision charger. Had to change setting on the charger but has proven to keep everything at 100%. it is a 3 bank charger.
