    Default 16' "Livescope" Rod

What are people using for longer livescope rods that are longer than 13'? I am losing 3 or so feet with the set back from the front of my boat. Thinking I want to pick up a 16' rod, is there any specific rods that people are using or just using a 16' spider rigging rod?

There is the Huckabee K-Rod which is 16' and BnM has a new rod coming out if not out already called Black Diamond which is 16' as well. They announced it at the Grizzly Jig show. Listen to Jack Wells talk about the rod in video below around 2:15 mark.

I just bought a Huckabee K-Rod from Power Crappie. Not too bad heavy for being a 16 foot rod. I really like it for Livescoping deeper than 12 foot as it handles swinging 12 feet or more of line very nicely.

I'd have a 16' Huckabee K-Rod if I hadnt found a brand new HH locally for half price. I like the K-Rod feel better but the HH for $100 local was where it was at for me. I'd wait as long as I could and see what Ozark Drops. They've got Hayden Jeffries and Lamar Bunting fishing a prototype and perfecting it. I also wouldn't personally send HH anymore $$ but that's just my opinion.
