I thought about something like that but then decided it would be dangerous for my wallet so I stayed home……lol
It is a soggy, cold, windy day here in Upstate SC. So I decided to take a ride to Cabelas just to browse around. Please help me to survive with my bank account still intact. I don't really need anything. Just want to kill some time. But you know how that is.

We have a BPS; Sportsman Warehouse and Academy here in Chattanooga. We have a Dick's, but the anti-outdoors woman CEO did not include hunting and fishing in this store. In any event, the inventory of the aforementioned is so depleted that I don't have that problem. I buy online...and that is what they want us to do.
Well, I survived Cabelas with my bank account undisturbed. Found a Plano Edge tackle box I would have liked for my jigs and soft plastics. But I was too cheap to pay $30 for it. If it had been $18-20 I might have brought it home. It was nice and had a lot of compartments just the right size.

LOL !!! Yeah, here in Lex. we have Cabela's, Sportsmans Whse., Dick's Sporting Goods, Academy Sports, several Wally Worlds and "bait shops" ... but I rarely go to any of them for fishing supplies, seeing as how I already have a collection that'll take me a couple more lifetimes to use up. That's not to say that the Bait Monkey doesn't sit on my shoulder and whisper in my ear whenever I'm in any of these stores. Heck, he even got me to purchase a pack of baits at our local Ollie's Bargain Outlet several years ago ... and I've yet to use any of them.
It takes a strong will, but I've even been known to refuse to take a "goodie bag" of sponsor baits & products that we give out at our annual Spring Fling events.
Good to hear you survived
