    Default City park surprise

While heading for the lake by the house I came across this creature in the road, first time seeing one within the city limits. Crappie didn't show but a couple of fat trout did.

After all it’s almost Turkey season. They gotta hide somewhere.

Pretty Turkey. Even better if there was cranberry sauce and some green bean casserole. Even nicer fat trout, I’ll. E the was fun on the light gear. And speaking of the gear, the rod looks interesting. What is it? I e got a couple with the high framed guides and they cast real well.

Yesterday I smoked a turkey on the Traeger and it was amazing. That trout was stuffed unlike the turkey. Skeet, the rod is a 7' Shimano Soare BB. It was the first JDM rod I purchased and liked it so much I bought another. Cost about $120 delivered. It has a short handle that I really like with a light tip with some backbone, the perfect rod for me.

Not a wild turkey I assume? Totally different thing for sure. If wild I highly doubt anyone is saying give me another leg.

It was a store bought turkey. Usually get an extra one before Thanksgiving and finally got around to smoking it. Don't even cook turkey in the oven anymore on Thanksgiving, always smoke them now along with the mac n cheese which tastes amazing smoked on the grill. Between the kids and grandchildren there wasn't much in the way of leftovers.
