I replaced my blown 200 Merc for a 2010 DF140 this spring. I put on the same tach as yours. Also had to replace the ignition switch, kill switch and controller w trim switch and cables. The new main wiring cable and gauges/ switches all had plugs. It was pretty much plug and play other than adapter plates because all the holes were to big for the Suzuki stuff. I can take pics of cables/ plugs showing the wire colors if that would help.

I called the Interstate 69 Motor Sports in Union City TN where I bought the parts and they told me to bring the wiring harness and the gauges and they would plug them up for me on the counter ...

Can’t beat that for customer service ...

(The quick plug to the motor and to the remote throttle are easily understood gang plugs but these Suzuki gauges are not … they are individual wire colors that do not match the wire colors on the wiring harness) ...

So ... I called I69 Motorsports again about connecting these Suzuki gauges to the Suzuki wiring harness… and the installation tech seemed ... “reluctant” ...

I can only assume there may be warranty issues (from Suzuki) requiring a certified Suzuki tech installing these parts ...

This certified Suzuki dealer is only an hour away so I have taken the boat for their certified Suzuki tech to install the wiring harness and gauges ... (it may save me difficulties in warranty work later) ...

The work is supposed to be done in a few days ... I will post updates ...

    Rickie

PS ... thanks again to my cuz (M R Dux) for dragging my boat to Union City, TN ... for the 2nd time ...

Probably a good call to save any potential headaches later.

    Latest update ...:

I69 Motorsports in Union City TN completed the Suzuki wiring harness and Suzuki gauges install ...

Almost time for initial Suzuki breakin procedure ...

I have to take the boat to our local prop guy for a guesstimate of what he thinks this boat/motor combination may need ...
