    Lots of good-sounding recipes here. We mix a dry blend of salt, white pepper, and paprika and sprinkle fillets before going in white cornmeal. We have used Young's Catfish seasoning meal before and like it too. We used to pull up to a local Young's Catfish place drive thru and they would sell you a 5 lb bag right out the window!

    Saw the Kentucky Kernel dry mix at my local store, bought some to try..Have a bunch of brim fillets in freezer.

    I use mustard on all the fish I fry as well as chicken. It holds the flour/meal really good. Funny thing is you don't taste the mustard at all once they are fried.

    Just gives it a nice crisp and something for the corn meal to stick to. Also never have to add salt because of the mustard. Give it a try! I’ve tried without, but prefer it with

    Floured, egg bathed, seasoned panko, melted butter then broiled. Pork chops receive the same treatment.
    Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.
