Bought 2 used Driftmasters both RH
Bought these yesterday, found out this morning both are right hand thread.. For those that use these am I going to have issues using a Right threaded one of the left side..I kind of think I will?? I got them yesterday afternoon for $25 each so I will not feel to bad if I have to buy a new base and other left handed parts for one. I rarely spider rig but thought I might go more often if I had a better set up. I will look online for Left thread base and parts tonight. Also need to pick up stainless steel mounting screws and 3M 4200 caulk.. No hurry since I usually fish single pole freeline or slip cork in the pads this time of year

If you’re are just spider rigging you’ll be fine. I have the same setup, and never had problems. Heck, I run em on the back of the boat, pulling cranks and they haven’t loosened up.

Sounds like I will be fine using these as they are. One of my friends told me he put left threaded ones on one side of his boat. But he sometimes trolls with roadrunners and other lures so thats likely why he did that.

OUT THE FRONT OF THE BOAT SHOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM . PULLING CRANKS FROM THE SIDE WOULD BE .

They shouldn’t. I have 4 millenniums the same right hand thread and they don’t loosen.

Thats good. 99% of my speck/crappie fishing is single poling in pads or casting into holes in hydrilla mats. I keep seeing other fishermen drifting or tight lining so I'm going to mix it up some.
