    Default Terrova shaft length

Anyone running a terrova on a ranger 188 mins telling me what shaft length they went with. I have one with a 60” shaft I’m going to install on the boat but I’m not sure what to cut it down to

If I was going to cut one down I would go no less than 52 inches. I would keep it 60 inches to accommodate choppy water and winds. JM2C

I will try the 60 and see how that goes, I just realized the one I have is actually 72”. I’m taking it off my pontoon and it takes up way to much room now
    Thank you

I bought a 60" to go on my stratos 18XL. It's a lot easier to stow & deploy by leaving the shaft full length. Thankfully Doug (Mr.Dux) told me to leave it alone until i tried it & i'm sure glad i did. No way i'd cut it down unless you're absolutely sure you want it shorter. They claim you will also void the warranty if you don't have a authorized service center do it too.

If it's not under warranty there's all kinds of youtube videos showing how to cut it down easily.
