I don't unhook anything. Back the boat in, plug in the chargers, put on the cover, then clean fish.

So, i have a portable box because i store my boat outside under a lean to. Do i need to disconnect my black box from my ionics battery each time i charge? Or can i leave it hooked up? Thanks in advance.

Good deal. Thanks for the reply. That's kinda what i was thinking, but just wanted to make sure. 'preciate it.
Black box needs a shut off or disconnect . The thing pulls current all the time
Yep, i have one installed. I was just curious about the charging of the battery while everything was still connected. I'm not trying to damage anything inadvertently. Thanks y'all.
I keep my boat outside and I disconnect my blackbox when I leave the ramp. I at some point I am going to add a disconnect switch to it. I like stated it is pulling amps if it is hooked up to a battery.
I have an inline switch on mine. When I turn the unit off after fishing, I turn the power supply off also.
I accidentally left my switch turned on for a week... i checked my ionics battery a week later, still at 80%...
