Drinking coffee about 3 this morning and saw your post Jeff. That looked good so had to go in my fishing room and play a little. Did a minnow head jig and a round ball head. The 1/8oz was big enough and after drilling it weighs 1/16. Thanks for the post. I make pill head jigs out of the ball jigs also.Attachment 474893Attachment 474894

How do you get the hold in jig head what you use thanks

I held it by hand on a board, not the best or easiest way. If I was doing very many I would make a mold on a 2x4 to hold it.

I used that BPS jig head because after squeezing it with smooth jaw pliers the hook was in the very edge of the lead giving me enough room to drill it without hitting the hook. They also have a bigger light wire hook that I like.

Dog gone it Super Dave, I was on the fence trying to decide if these would help while scoping, but after your thread I ordered 3 types, now I have to wait to try them. Thanks

I use BPS jig heads and squeeze them with smooth jaw pliers or a vise with 2 plates in it and made some eye hole jigs the other day. Drill a hole and paint them. Also take ball jigs and do the same, paint and glue 4 or 6 mm eyes on them. Retired and always tinkering.Attachment 474013Attachment 474014Attachment 474015
