    Default March 1st livescoping

Went today my 4th trip learning this livescope, man 2-5 mph winds, couldn’t find a lot of bigger crappie, they are shallow, water temp today was 62-64 degrees. But I caught some smaller crappie and several 1-1 1/2 pounders, but nothing bigger, don’t know some of those 1 pound fish looked very small on my screen, I really could not tell the difference in the size of the crappie by looking at them on the screen. Anyway getting better on the pitches and being able to see my jig on the screen. Just no big fish to be found. Still trying though.

Any trip with fish in the boat is a good trip.

What depth and distance do you run your livescope on? I leave mine on the same settings as much as I can as this lets me learn what a 3/4 lb crappie looks like compared to a 2 lber.

With a uhd 93 sv & a lvs 32 I fish on 30 feet & search on 60. As i get closer i adjust size until i get down to 30. I have adjusted it down to 20 & 25 feet but like it better at 30 most times. Sometimes i will zone out to cast at schools of bass that are a good ways off & catch a few of them sometimes.

I also keep it on the same, 25 feet distance and 20 feet deep
