If you and I are fishing public waters, lakes and rivers, it is open to all. You might sink a piece of brush, but you sunk it in public waters. Sidescan and downscan are going to find it one day. I'm 61 now, and I laugh at bass fishermen half my age saying they got this spot this honey hole and they take me there. I was fishing that little point before they were born. And more to the point, back off some weekend with nice weather and you will likely see 20 boats stop and check your honey hole. Same goes for crappie fishermen. Social media is public. Some on youtube even call themselves teaching us, advertising their guide services where I live and fish. All we can do is to try and get to it first after daybreak.
