Yep i'd like to see a pic of that mount. I'm always messing around & need some type mount at times.

Here you go Les. I went to WalMart and picked up this 6" mount for 20 bucks. It does have an aluminum base. Didn't get long enough bolts to attach my 7" Lowrance Elite so no install pic.
