Dab of super glue will take care of that.

Keep a bottle of loctite gel super glue in the boat. Keeps baits pinned to the head real nicely

wrap dental floss around the jig where the bait will go add a drop of glue to it the bait will stay put.

The only problem with gluing the plastic bait onto the jig hook is when the bait gets the tail bit off or it gets chewed up ... then you have to take the whole jig off and re-rig. (not including those that use swivels, snaps, or clips)

I used Super Glue Gel back many years ago, to hold hollow body tubes on my jigheads ... and it worked just fine. Well, that is until Bluegills nipped off all the skirt pieces. Then I went to solid body tubes & didn't have to use glue.

I just rip it off, then pick the remnants off the head with my finger and put a new plastic on. I put the glue on the shank of the hook truthfully, so only a little bit gets pressed to the head.
