I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that those rods/reels you use, that wear out your forearm after an hour or so of use, are tip heavy,,,, likely having too light weight of a reel to balance the rod length.
I do believe you are right crappiepappy, those rods have 1000 or maybe 2000 shimano reels, pretty cheap reels but good for vertical trolling.

I am going to try that rig out, if my lithium battery comes early enough to get it installed, hope so cause rain moving in later in the day for next few days.

    I normally use 1/32 - 1/16 jigs with 1/8 - 1/4 egg sinker. If I need I can go heavier but I don’t typically fish very deep.

Can you double rig jigs with weight in center?

Depends on my rod and setup but easily pitch out 20’ or so. Yes I’ve seen guys use double jig setups as well.

Why would you want to ?? I use double jig rig with two 1/16oz jigs, flipping to fish from 15-25' away (normally) ... and in 10-30fow. If I wanted to flip farther, fish deeper, and have the jigs fall faster (which I don't want), I'd just use two 1/8oz jigs.

Thanks fellows as you can see, I know nothing about this yet, only went one time livescoping, when I get my battery tomorrow I will be able to get some experience doing this. Thanks Dave and crappiepappy.

Super Dave I saw a fellow on YouTube called Thomas fishing that used the same rig you told me about, looks promising. Thanks

Lots of guys use that setup. It helps with seeing the jig on livescope. Personally if I could I would use just a single jig and no weight. Not always easy to do that though.
