It works well with one or two fishermen. An added bonus is it makes it really easy to see my Livescope in bright sunshine. A good 18 to 20 volt Lithium work fan finishes off the setup.
My wife even keeps a spray bottle of water in the ice chest to mist on us every now and then too. With my umbrella setup I can even swing it to one side or the other for those hours when the sun is starting to go down.
Those fishing shirts seem too hot to me. I usually just wear a light colored T-shirt and shorts. Does anybody else have any tips for the hot summer days?
I would fish six am to 9am, or simply keep to shaded banks with trees overlooking the water, wear vented shirts as well as large brim Western Hats and drink plenty of ice water. Worked for me.
