    Boat prices are crazy!
I’ve owned quite a few boats and have yet to find one that I liked as much as my 97’ Ranger other than my current boats it’s a 21 model Phoenix absolutely a fine rig but I’m not a competitive angler nor do I have to have the finest they make so I am looking at going back to a 2000- 2004 Ranger 520/521
I really liked my 99 xpress as well but no way I’m going back to aluminum after I have owned a glass boat especially on the big river I fish the most it gets nasty quick!

i was thinking that Bass pro started making Ranger after 2012?
    Too blessed to be stressed!

I was just talking with my boat mechanic telling him I wanted him to replace all the console switches and rewire them all along with new carpet put down whenever he has the time this summer/fall. I like my old Ranger and plan on keeping 'er even though one of these days I do plan on a 4 stroke 115 Merc on 'er. But that will come when the old 90 hp Johnson carbed motor gives up the ghost. Looking at today's boat prices it doesnt sound so bad spending a little coin on what I got.

There is a company near where I live that takes old bass boats reworks, and repowers them, and then sales them. Probably not a bad business to be in these days

I have an 04 519 that is a great boat, but ever since Ranger got bought out, dealing with them has become a huge headache. Parts that don’t get carried anymore, prices are sky high on the ones they do carry. That being said, I am looking to upgrade to a 521 or 522. Can’t find a better built boat for fishing.
