    Default Sam Heaton

Google did not help me out. Who is Sam Heaton?? I guessing a Professional Crappie fisherman? Seen where he is a speaker at Grizzly Jig. I sure like the BM Sam Heaton 7’ rods 😄

He used to be, has moved to Florida and is more salt oriented these days. Still a darn good speaker, BS er and knowledgeable. I own several of the super sensitive rods, wish we could get down there to see his seminars and visit with him. Good Guy.

He was a well written about crappie guide back in the day, He specialized in using a double jig set up with a rattling cork that he used to make himself.

Sam’s B&M rods were the first higher end crappie rods I ever bought and they still have a place in my boat when I’m longline trolling.

I got to enjoy talking to Sam at Grizzly Jig. He had many memories of times he spent around west Ky. Great guy who has been a great ambassador for the fishing community.
