What rods to buy

I have 3 of the crappie max poles and I love them, they are very good rods. They will work well for you. Been using them now for almost a year now and they work great for vertical trolling and jigging treetops, don’t know about crank baits.

I am getting things together to try spider rigging and pulling crankbaits.
So my questions are

What rods and reels to buy? Im on a fairly tight budget and I was looking at the Crappie maxx poles from BPS.
Are they any good?
Also what reel would be good to get?
Also how long of rod to get started?

And where do you get the sinkers for this style of fishing?
