My 10' Huckabee Dippin Stick has a 20" long handle, but no reel seat (Tenn style handle w/rings). That's the same length handle as my 14' BnM Capps/Coleman rods, but their reel seat is not centered (because they're meant for rod holder use).
My SHSS 10' rod has a 20" handle, as well, and the reel seat is centered ... but I think the 12' rod is their longest, and they're rated "Lite" in power and "Moderate" in action.
My 12' BnM Diamond Series rod only has a 14" handle and the reel seat is at the very front of the handle.

I was just going off feel. I finally remembered measured rods in my garage from BnM, Jenko, Huckabee, and Dobyn’s. They are all between 19-21” total handle length. The difference I was noticing by feel was the Huckabee rods are slightly longer behind the reel seat than the other brands.

Definitely different for everyone and different for type lakes and water depth you are fishing. I tried the 16’ Bgjp early on when I started using LS and it didn’t suit me at all. But I really don’t like using anything longer than 12’ and don’t really have a need to, 99 percent of time I am fishing deeper than 15ft and haven’t noticed longer rod being beneficial at those depths.

I can’t speak for those two in particular but the shorter Kevin Rogers are definitely lighter than similar than similar length Huckabee rods. But I prefer the balance of the Huckabee over Kevin Rogers. I had a set of both and spent a lot of time trying them, ultimately sold the Kevin Rogers and kept the Huckabee. The Kevin Rogers rods are good though, can’t go wrong either way.
