Double Lucky Man.
After a big rain event last night that dumped several inches of rain on us and since I haven't fished since last year and I was getting cabin fever My Bride of 41 years and I went fishing on Bayou Lacombe. Conditions were less than good with the water up to the top of the wharf and falling so hard there were eddies by the posts. Wind was howling as the cold front moved into the area. The fish were in survival mode trying not to be wasted out into the Gulf of Mexico. The ones that did bite were BIG. 4 black sacalait over 12 inches.
Kept 6 for dinner. Lesson learned today The Couple That Plays Together, Stays Together !!

Nothing like fresh fish for dinner. Congrats on you two getting out and enjoying nature together.
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
Blessings to the both of you ✝️
Nice mess
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
You are a lucky man that your wife enjoys the same entertainment as you, and get a taste meal afterwards.
