This contest ends in two weeks.
And here's an almost perfect picture:
But it's not a White Crappie, and it's not on a White Background.
The damage on the fins is not great, but I can fix that with photoshop.
Ok, here's the deal. I need a good picture, along with high resolution image to be emailed to me, of a white crappie. I have black crappie images of my own, for our designs, but the problem is, there are no white crappie in Florida. So I can't get my own image.
The white crappie should be a nice sized crappie, taken on a white background, white towel should work. It's fins should be splayed out nicely, and it's mouth should be open but not super wide open.
You'll need to email the original image to me, and also by entering you'll be turning over the rights to crappie.com to use the image on stuff wifey sells.
You'll be famous and you'll be doing crappie.com a big favor.
I'll post a pic of a sample image with critiques.
Winner will get the following crappie.com prize pack.
Plus a product of their choice from the crappie.com store.

White crappie would look great swimming on a beer glass full of beer. ....... at least I'm not asking for a pocket on it.

M R Dux sent me this one, it's real good, but could be better, so I thought I'd critique it.
The angle the picture is taken at is slightly low. Should be a 100% side shot.
The crappie's mouth area is in the shadow of the fish ruler.
The top fin is not fanned out quite all the way.
And it's not a completely white background, but it looks like an easy fix via photoshop.
Other than that, it's actually a very well taken shot, and a nice fish. I can maybe fix it all with Photoshop for wifey's use.
I know I'm being picky, but I'm just trying to help those that will still be taking their pictures.
It's for cups and such, so it has to be perfect. Don't you know my wifey by now!
