the good news , temps were pretty mild, yesterday and the ENTIRE creek was not frozen over , so you know what happened next for sure ....

Maybe by the weekend we might see some open water here with the warmer temps and rain coming in. Probably get out today and check the ice thickness. Couple of years ago I watched a guy step off the dock to see how thick the ice was and it held him until he started jumping up and down. About the 3rd or fourth jump and KABOOM, through the ice he went. Don't know what he was thinking but he got a laugh out of me when he climbed out dripping and shivering. Hopefully some KABOOM time before the new year.
