    Default Kevin Rogers signature rod?

Does anybody have this rod & opinion on it? Does anybody have it that have fished the acc crappie stix 13 foot super grip rod to compare the two? If not this one how about some of the B&M rods for vertical jigging? Got a gift card to spend at basspro & figured i'd get either a rod or another spinning reel but the Kevin Rogers rod sounds pretty good too. Thanks guys

I got mine today & put a spinning reel on it & i like the feel of it pretty good. I put a baitcaster back on my 13 foot super grip acc crappie stix for fishing shallow & will use the Kevin Rogers rod with a spinning reel to fish deeper. I also have other rods that i can cast with or use if getting real close to fish so i should pretty much have all my bases covered.

Sounds like some qualified testimonials for that rod, good luck with it. Hope it lands you many limits.

P.S. I thought I had found one at a yard sale a couple years ago. Bought it and took it out a couple of times, but all it wanted to do was listen to Dolly Parton songs. I took a closer look at it with a magnifying glass. Rather than a Kevin Rogers Signature this one was a Kenny Rogers Singing rod. LOL
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.

No, i had a 50 dollar gift card from bass pro so i used it in on the purchase. I got it today & mounted a runcl 3000 size spinning reel on it spooled with 15 lb. berkley x 9 in crystal with a 10lb mono leader. I'll check it Sunday if nothing happens on either cumberland or green, but i already like the way it feels.

    Cool
If you don’t like it I will take it off your hands for a fair price. Always use 2.
Wish Green wasn’t another hour from Taylorsville or I would try there sometime. Never been on it.
If you every plan a trip to Taylorsville maybe we could meet up and exchange lies. Lol
I’m pretty sure you will like the Kevin Rogers.
What do you think about the diameter of the handle? I really like it being just a bit smaller than others.

I like the handle diameter. Like i said i put a baitcaster back on my rear seat acc crappie stix 13 foot super grip. I saw where Kevin Rogers said he fished a baitcater 15 feet or less & just let the reel hang upside down which with it pretty much canepole style it makes sense so i'm going to try it myself. I know it feels pretty natural this way & if a person hooks something big enough he can always flip the rod over & retrieve it like normal. Deeper fishing will be strictly the Kevin Rogers rod with a spinning reel. I haven't been to Taylorsville in years & wouldn't care to sometime so maybe we will hook up or if you decide to come to Green on a Sunday morning or Saturday night in summer let me know.
