Default Be Carefull next few days!

About 6-7 pm expect temps to be dropping like a rock in this extreme cold frond Low pressure storm. Avoid prolonged skin exposure in brutal cold and wind. Don’t forget after the 1st of Jan. you will need a new lake permit launch sticker for your boats when launching on State controlled launches. Have a safe Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Haven't seen these low temps in several years. Take precautions and stay safe.

Yep ... 46deg now, then low temps tonight are forecast to be -5deg F. (Lexington, Ky)

And yes, having been out in -20deg weather I can tell you that if you're not properly dressed you can be in serious trouble very quickly.

    Ya'll be safe out there.

Same here in SE Ohio. I worked yesterday getting things ready. Generator is ready should we lose power, firewood in the house for the wood stove, extra gas etc. Be careful and be safe everyone.

Yes be careful everyone. Here it's 0 mean air temperature with a feels like -22. We have about 1-1/2 snow on the ground and still coming down. Predicted to be down even lower after the sun goes down. Merry Christmas Everyone. Stay safe and warm.

I'm in Dallas and it is currently 22 degrees not including windchill. It's suppose to be 56 next Friday so I plan on being on the lake before the real winter set in.

Had to shovel snow and plow the driveway with the 4 wheeler this morning at -15, not much wind though. . On the bottom...Long underwear, pants, ice fishing pants, sorel boots. On the top...tshirt, sweatshirt, hooded sweatshirt, carhart jacket, face mask, double lined choppers. Was out for about 1.5 hours and right thumb got cold.

Be smart and you will survive. Make sure you know where and when your kids are going somewhere.
