11 in Ft. Worth and someone asking if they were biting ....said yes sir the wind is biting right down to the bone
second fella asked if we should go to a spot and I said he sure , only without me !
forgot to turn off the water at the meter at the country place
will have to go today and turn it off , likely broke lots of pipes as I forgot to winterize the trailer last week
the good news is the homestead got winterized well and it is pretty nice inside the house

Double checked all mine yesterday. Was up early enough to hear the power lines faulting on a tree or something. Some pretty good thumps they made. Thankfully they cleared themselves and the power came back on.

-8 this morning. Wind chill -25 to -30 with wind gusting between 25 to 30mph. Looks like we ended up with 3 maybe 4” of snow if that. It’s blowing and not going out to measure. And not clearing driveway for a while as I used the atv with snow blade. I wouldn’t want to be the mail carrier keeping her window down in her vehicle delivering mail. We do have a few homes without power in the county as I checked REMC’s outage map. I still have power here.

Maul carrier would be a bad job for sure. Especially with the increased work load with all of the holiday mail
