I used to use a fishing specialties mount. Well built and it worked well.. there are many products out there.

If you want to get by pretty cheap & have one that works good too look up d i y pvc livescope pole on youtube. Paint it flat black after building & actually looks pretty good too.

My advise would be to try the trolling motor . I had the Seelite system and it was good for open water . In brush, stump, and heavily brush it is to hard to dodge stuff with two things (trolling motor shaft and transducer pole )To me livescope is an open water deal but where I fish the trolling motor is more to my liking . jmo.

I just moved mine from trolling motor to the fishing specialities pole and absolutely love it ! Very simple and easy to remove off boat in seconds! And no more trouble fighting the wind and trying to keep LS on a object
    Too blessed to be stressed!
