the getting down there fast and seeing it , is important with LS , it is tough as heck to get a slow fall jig on the fish before something changes

Ive gotten to where I use this method more and more. I like it.

I like to use a 1/4 to 3/8 egg sinker with a very light hair jig. That way you get the best of both worlds. Gets your rig down fast but you can stop short and let the light hair jig sink slowly to the crappie. Works well.
