    Default Guppy weights

How do you guys attach your guppy weights to both lines? Simply use snap swivels ?

If using swivels to stop line twist you would have a main line and leader attached to the weight. If using it as a snap weight then you would only have 1 line.

This is a trolling weight. Use it to control how deep your crankbait runs.

Basically a mini downrigger ball you place in line??
I think The offshore tackle tadpole does the same thing but releases when hooked up so you can fight the fish, not the weight.....

    This may help:

Inline or Snap weight - Two ways to rig an Off Shore Guppy weight - YouTube

Snap weight is how I mostly use them, using the snakebite or Cabelas snap clips

When I rarely go with inline, I use a split ring and tie a uni knot to the split ring.
