I go to Walmart to the appliance/kitchen area and purchasing the Black and Decker electric carving knife. They sale it as a turkey/meat carver for $15.00. I have filleted probably 500 crappie with it without issue.

Bought and used expensive Bubba blade with negative results. The tip-half on all blades [4] were nasty dull, whereas the lower(machine half) were fine. I called factory and they said they would replace them at no charge...that was 1.5 weeks ago[no blades yet]. Will re-address next week.

I bought a Rapala but didn’t realize it was not the heavy duty version when I ordered. It seemed slow to me and take into account l have been releasing or giving away all my fish for a couple years and haven’t fillet any.
I did like being able to clean fish near boat ramp without having to clean at home.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

I still use a cheap Mister Twister electric knife and it works great on crappie and white bass. I will toss it and buy another one when it gives up the ghost. I'm not a pro so it does not get a heavy work out.

I'd love to actually see a fair test. OP was working REALLY hard to make the Bubba look bad (dead battery, feathering the trigger). I have the Bubba and it's not nearly the junk that he tried to show it as. I'm not saying the Rapala isn't better. It may well be. If it is, then I might get one. But i'd like to see a fair test first. And I don't want to buy the Rapala just to check. The Bubba does fine for me with the included blades.
