    Default crappie day on the Chick


    Well maybe I am getting better. If I am it is thanks to all the good advise here. Got out this morning for what may bevy last outing for a while. The Crappie gods smiled upon me

    Todays total was 27 fish of which 24 were crappie all but 3 were keeper size so for the first time I caught a limit!

    Blue ice was the best producer on 1/16 oz #2 sickle hooks. A few on 1/32 sickle

    my crappie total from last Saturday through today in 3 outings 48 crappies!

    I FEEL GOOD!

    We have three Resivors in central Oregon with crappie. Two simply ran out of water and are no more than a river flowing through and the third was recently drained to do repairs to the dam. Didn't get to fish for them even one time this year and since being introduced to them, they became my favorite eating fish! We ever get the resivors up again I hope they will still be there!
