    Default ZMan Micro Finesse Baits

Has anyone had a chance to fish with the new ZMan Micro Finesse baits yet? I love ZMan bass products and I’m looking forward to trying out their new panfish stuff.

I have used them some, they work as well as anything else. They hold up well and I really like the hook slot on models that have it. Not probably a big deal to most, but if you are really picky about getting baits rigged perfectly straight like I am, it makes it a lot easier.

Have been cutting down/super gluing various Z-man baits for use on panfish the last few years with good success. Started creek fishing this past year and again did well using these cut down baits. Recently purchased a few of the micro finesse size baits (left row in first picture) and used in the creek in October. They are the Z-man Tiny TicklerZ and Shad FryZ which are both 1.75". Panfish in this particular creek are rare and have never seen or heard of crappie being caught, so really cannot comment on the new baits on those fish. However, they produced very well on all other species present including Smallies, Walleye, Sauger and even a Buffalo. Hope they expand the Micro Finesse line and color selection. Very durable baits and will continue to use. Water had been getting so cold that you had to really slow the presentation down and was losing them left and right to snags. Here's a few pics of fish caught on the last trip using the Z-man Micro Finesse baits.

I have used them. The two I favor are shad fryz and stingerz. If had to choose only one, I would go with shad fryz. It gets the job done. Also, I have landed several species other than crappie on it - LMB, bluegill, shell cracker, and some kind of a perch.

Sorry, the previous perch was on Trout Magnet.

Caught this too and believe it to be a shad. Would appreciate if someone shared the exact name of this species.
