White crappie originally came from oxbow lakes and were distributed elsewhere ...
Try gasoline on a jig and show me how it doesn't matter ...

Speaking of gasoline…
I purposely do dot get fuel on the way to the lake for that exact reason.
In fact…after I hook up my boat, putting on safety chains, etc. I come inside and wash my hands real good.
Call it OCD.. oh well.
I think the fish can smell that stuff.
