Old hard drive installed in an external adapter, new laptop computer soon ...
Mother board quit after 7 years ....
Under 500 total to fix it and then all is well ....
Been tough using a phone and a couple iPads.

I don’t like to just post images , some need touch ups and other types of editing like digging deep to remove locations and etc . That phones and iPads typically don’t do well .
My really old image editing program that I have handed down from laptop to laptop is still the best one for me
Many times geotags are removed ,but exif flies till lurk and I prefer a larger screen and keypad too.

$500 seems like a lot to spend on an old computer. Like everything else they're disposable unless you didn't have photos and important stuff backed up.

Same here. My laptops are so old. Prolly end up in the trash or recycle at some point
