SSS Skin so soft used to a avon product if I remember right. Was the best yellow fly repellant ever. When I used to live in south Ga. it was a must have. Better to keep them off than treat their bites. They are actually if I remember right a slasher in that they would slash a tiny wound and suck your blood in a nano second. They are also territorial in they will follow you until you cross a magic line then leave. Scott

You ever smell tea tree oil, oh believe me, it keeps them off too. It's the only thing that keeps them off. I've tried everything including Skin So Soft. Listerine would work but it would evaporate too fast and there it only lasted a short time. They even laugh at deep woods off. Seriously, we were gonna sell the house till we found Tea Tree Oil. Best thing, barre none, against insects, and insect bites.

Gonna come out with the "slab pocket fisherman" real soon. But till then, try you some tea tree oil, it's good stuff.

Slab does it work on chiggers, Oak mites and mosquito bites? If it does, I'm down! I cannot stand these three and they are the most common for me as soon as the sun starts setting in MO.

I can speak to mosquito bites, hornet bites, and yellow fly bites. I'd say it does work on all bites in general. I have not tested those yet, but I guarantee I will once it happens to me!

I know it works on about everything else, but anyone willing to test it on Chiggers, I'll send you one free?
