One more question (for now), is there an edit lost function that I'm missing somewhere? Auto correct being as helpful as always made it appear as though I was inquiring as to if anyone was stabbing in michigan lol... SLABBIN** "is anyone SLABBIN in MI" was my intended question.. lol smh

I believe you have 30 minutes to edit your original post. After that a moderator can edit anything you need. Thank for joining! Welcome.

I knew that was what you meant, and I'm sure most others did as well. Grammatical mistakes, and big thumb operator errors, are not a high priority for correction (and sometimes even provoke a good chuckle amongst us), though there may be the occasional "......." reply.
But, no .... there's no "autocorrect" function on the site, otherwise we wouldn't be able to use a lot of the local dialect words you're going to run into on here .... like "minner" (minnow). We even have a few memes on the "Wake Up" thread showing the autocorrect "mistakes" that are quite humorous.

Welcome to CDC. There are a few of us that are active in the Michigan chapter, mostly from the Lansing/Grand Rapids areas. We have a spring camp every year for whoever can make it with a pot luck "liars club" Friday, crappie tournament Saturday and fish fry Saturday night. 2023 is being held at Waffle Farms in Coldwater the first weekend in May. Sadly, the Michigan chapter isn't as active as it was a few years ago but the ones left are a close knit group. I've never had negative feedback when I give specifics in my reports, I'm an open book, I'll tell you where, when and what I used.
The older I get the more I realize the therapeutic benefits of fishing

Thanks again pappy.
I was asking if there was an "edit post" button/link anywhere for self edits of typeos.. I wouldn't expect a mod/admin to bother with my mistake.. the auto correct I was referring to was that of my phone which is always less then helpful as I to tend to speak in verbiage that is not Webster recognized lol... Buckeye filled me in on the 30min edit option for the original post.. I'll have to check out the referenced thread of humorous errors lol..

Awesome.. I'll have to check that out.. I'm not far from Lansing and a lot of my fishing buddies are from the GR area.. I'm in Livingston Co. Howell/Brighton specifically..
I'm into sharing info and helping others as well.. while I typically don't share what lake I'm on in a public forum (though alot of the MI internet guys already know), I'm into sharing literally everything else I can to help someone else learn a thing or have a great day on the water..
I'll make a post in the Michigan group after I get my kid to bed.. Maybe we can generate some activity / fresh discussion.. I know how tight knit groups can get/be and am by no means interested in stepping on toes but am very interested in sharing reports and info relevant to michigan crappie fishing...
Look forward to talking soon,
Nate

Welcome Nate & those are some really nice fish. Look forward to hearing how you guys catch them up north. There's a great bunch of folks here.
NatePressotto thanked you for this post
Welcome Nate. A 14" crappie on the waters I fish here in Oregon would be a dandy for sure let alone a 16 incher.
