Some hot oil termination will do them some good.
Put out a few new piles and a couple weeks later when I scoped one it had a school of catfish chasing everything off the pile. I grabbed my regular pole, cut the head off a sacalait I had in the live well and BOOM this 15 lb bad boy started a tug of war with my spot lock. Caught another smaller 5 pounder then they all cleared out. Kept 8 sacalait and terminated 2 predators.

Yummy, nice mess of groceries.
Great mixed bag.
I'd be overjoyed just to bring home that many nice crappie, let alone those bruiser cats.

Getting rid of the cats will do the crappie a bunch of good. Congrats on the fresh meat for the table.
