    excellent

like having someone drive the boat

I use the jog function once on spotlock to move in 5' increments

8 pushes = 40ft in any direction; love it

I have used it out to 80+ feet = 16 button press; no prob...you can just keep pressing/adding 5ft to get where you want

also enjoy the AP mode for trolling or moving along the bank

I've had mine for about a year- total game changer with Spot-lock. One suggestion, make sure you're sitting down the first time you engage spot-lock unless you want to go swimming. Thing moves pretty fast until it locks onto satellites!

Congrats on the new TM. I loved my Terrova. Did it come with just the micro or in addition to the regular remote? Don't know if you can calibrate it with just the micro. Also, use the scale adjustment to calm down the bucking bronco effect described above.
Several good threads on here about making both adjustments on a Terrova.

That is a great feature for picking apart a dock or structure

I mounted mine behind teh passengers counsel. I have a full windshield and that was the best spot without electrical noise. To find the best spot on your boat, buy a lensatic compass (magnetic compass). Find north and move the compass around to teh various locations you want to mount the Heading Sensor. If the needle moves, deflects, there is electrical interference at that location. Try another spot. Once you think you have a good spot, do it again with all your electronics, lights, pumps, etc on. Check again.
If that compass needle moves, so will your heading sensor. It will affect your performance....

Is yours Link? If not, I have an old remote for the Terrova, but it’s not the link series.
