Default Electric or battery filet knife?

I'm sure this thread has been done numerous times. My old electric just gave up. Looking for ideas?

I have both American Angler and Rapala corded knives. Both are 15+ years old and going strong. Have had the Bubba Li-on cordless for about six months now. It is convenient in that I don't have to be near a power source to use it. Does good for smaller fish but doesn't have the horsepower as the corded models. For a modest amount of fish I use the cordless for the convenience but if doing a cooler full corded is much faster, for me at least.

I have the American Angler plug in and the Bubba Lithium Ion rechargeable. The Bubba is certainly convenient and a lot safer since you are not dealing with electricity and cords. Both work equally well to me

I used an electric courtesy of MR DUX at the Shindig last month. I am sold….. it’s on my wish list this year.

I’ve tried quite a few different models in the last twenty years. An American Angler model was my top choice for many years until this year. I’ve gone cordless. They don’t make a cordless model so I’m using the newest model Rapala cordless ion battery model. It has the highest torque and runtime on the market now. I swapped out the bigger blades with my shark blades from my aa. They fit perfectly. Cleaned a twenty fish limit of crappies in less than half an hour. I highly recommend this knife. They have a less expensive model with less torque that is good too. I have that one also.

Are you guys using the straight blades, or the kind with a curve to it?
