Default I need pond feeding help!

I have fed catfish in ponds with commercial food off and on for many years, these were commercially raised channel cats that had been used to feed pellets. Here is my dilema, there is one pond that has nothing but largemouth and bluegill in it, I have been stocking it with full sized lake bluegill for about a year. How do I start to feed the bluegill since they are not trained to come to pellets?

    thanks!

Get some plastic coffee cans drill about a dozen holes on the bottom and sides the size of a pencil put that floating catfish pellets in the can and hang from a stringover the pond about half way up the side of the can when the crumbs start coming out the bottom they will find it, i have been doing this for 5 years.

Just throw the pellets out like you was feeding catfish. Not as much. When I started it took about a week for them to come to the sound. I have a 5 acre pond with bass and BG . I put out about 2 coffee cans every other day. They will eat everyday if you feed them.

I like to feed the smaller all species pellets from tractor supply.
I’m fortunate to have a large bent catalpa tree hanging over my pond.
I gotta rope across it about 10 feet out. I string one of my old 5gal deer feeders on it and feed 10 seconds every evening until it gets too cold to mess with.
Catfish, bluegills, ducks, and turtles all come within 5 minutes of it going off.
After winter, Within 3 days they start coming back to it.

it shouldnt be difficult to train bluegill to come to floating food , might try a loaf of white bread at first , they adore little pcs. of white bread and hand forecast it late afternoon in areas they tend to hang .
