    If you have good water pressure you can spray them off from the tail . Messy but will take them off .

    btw, you can skin catfish with a quick dip in boiling water , my nanny skinned catfish this way , Louisiana back country style catfish skinning

    I still have a skinning pole in my backyard for catfish. Lock them in with vise grips to the jaw and start skinning. Easy peasy.

    New one on me will try...I usually Filet..might try a combo while I'm at it THX....A far a scaling flyin scales do it under water..might have to change water a time or 2
