Default Super ultralight spinning rod-help needed

Howdy! I haven't been on here in a while and I hope everyone is doing well! I am a bank fisherman now, and I mainly cast jigs 1/32oz., I use 2-4 pound line. I am need of a super limber ultralight rod to help get them out there, any suggestions? and cheap is good LOL!

    thanks

BnM makes some sweet ultralight rods. My personal favorite is the TCB Leland.

The TCB is a heck of a value for the buck. You can go down to a 1/64 if you need to. 1/32 Will cast way out there!

Another vote for the TCB. Pair it with Varivas 2 lb line and you will get good casting distance with 1/32 oz jig.

Use the TCV exclusively. Use 64th and 32nd ounce jig heads all the time.

I have several from a custom 4’3” to a 7’ light action. Lots in between. The Trout Slayer Series has been changed to the TCB and is one of my hands down favorites. It’s 6’6” and has some backbone in the middle but is very light and balances well in hand. Fenwick makes some that fit the bill very well, I have one in 5’6”. St Croix also makes some that are nice and balanced. My strongest advice is to handle before you buy and strap the reel you’ll be using to it and check for balance. A tip heavy rod isn’t fun to deal with for very long. Somewhere right above the spool is where i like the balance point to be. Helps in feeling those little ticks and bumps some too.
